Green Valley Ranch is located east of Tower Road between 38th and 56th avenues, about 10 miles from Denver International Airport and 16 miles from downtown. It includes about 8,600 homes and spans 2,750 acres.

Oakwood Homes started building in Green Valley Ranch in 1992, and has continued development in the neighborhood in response to high demand for housing.

The new homes are 1,200 to 1,400 square feet, and are priced from $250,000 to the high $300,000s, Shermer said.

One response to “Green Valley Ranch adding hundreds of homes next to golf course”

  1. With all the growth we have, I would hope they would put some thought into shopping. The grocery stores we have a not at all up to handling the amount of family we have now let alone the new one being added.
